Mel Tayler’s Story

I joined the program because I wanted to lose weight. That was my biggest motivator, although very quickly it turned into something much bigger. I actually thought my gut health was pretty good, but after a few weeks I could see such a difference in my bloating and bowel movements. I realised what “normal” was supposed to feel like.

By the end of the program, my gut health was so much better. If I stray from the guidelines now, I feel the difference immediately, and I know exactly how to get myself back on track. The daily education emails were crucial for me. Understanding why certain foods make you feel so rubbish made it much easier to stay committed.

My family has benefitted too. We are eating more whole foods, fewer processed foods, and so many more vegetables. Sometimes all I needed to do was add rice or pasta to their meals, or make a few simple tweaks, but overall, everyone started eating better.

Work has always been a challenge because I’m in a call centre and chained to a desk for twelve-hour shifts. Getting 10,000 steps felt impossible. Since starting this program, I’ve started walking on my breaks instead of eating vending machine junk, and now I reach my target easily.

One of the biggest surprises for me was how much I began to enjoy the taste of vegetables. I didn’t live on zero veggies before, but I definitely discovered a real appreciation for simple foods. Berries, oh my goodness!! I had no idea how much I’d love them.

My energy levels changed dramatically. I used to lie on the couch most afternoons because I was too tired to do anything. Now, I get into bed each night feeling tired in a good way, because I’ve actually done so much more during the day.

I absolutely recommend this program. Going back to basics and cutting out all the processed rubbish we eat too much of is a real eye opener. Once all the sugar and toxins are out of your system, you feel more energetic, clearer in your mind, and you often lose weight without even trying.

The support from Saskia has been amazing. She is always there to answer questions or offer reassurance, and the group support is just as important. Sharing recipes, wins, and even the hard days with people who understand with zero judgement makes such a difference.

This program has changed the way I think about food, my body, and how I want to look after myself and my family. I am so grateful I took the leap.
